Mommy said so.
Mommy said she’d be back.
Mommy said.
Mommy said.
She told me to put on the mask and wait.
Wait for her to come.
Wait.
She told me to pluck a pedal off everytime I missed her.
The flower was gone.
When would she come back?
Come back.
I went outside to play.
Outside?
It was black.
I could not see.
See?
Something tickled my leg.
Leg?
Leg.
A black circle climbing up.
Black.
I sat.
Orange?
Red?
A blue roof?
With cotton balls?
A bright yellow apple in the sky.
White triangles in front.
A friend next to me.
Black.
I didn’t go to it.
It came to me.
A rock?
A rock with small ears coming off of it.
The rock matched Mommy!
Marble eyes.
Tongue out.
Was it a dog?
Dog?
Mommy’s sister.
I sat.
Black.
Orange?
Red?
