The purest of rain drops, a tear.
a slow moving drip
something so small it could stain your face
your beautiful perfect face
however a tear will not ruin it
tear stained faces are the warmest
the ones that show the most emotion
they require thinking and make you love
every one tells a story
every single tear
the ones that come rarely
or the ones that draw near
some are forever
others a day
some others don’t stay at all
just a fluke or mistake
having a stuffy nose
the others... well
they are permanent
from scars that won’t heal
or peace that won’t be met
sometimes even the saddest goodbyes
mean nothing but the best
