Write and submit a fall-themed haiku to have a chance to become one of eight finalists who will win a candy bar of their choice!
Follow the haiku format below:
– First Line – 5 syllables
– Second Line – 7 syllables
– Third Line – 5 syllables
Some possible ideas for poems include:
– Start of the school year
– Halloween (trick-or-treating, carving pumpkins, etc.)
– Thanksgiving (gratitude, family traditions, etc.)
– Characteristics of the season

September By Jack Taggart As Autumn ignites, The leaves burn with ember glow. They fall like ashes.
Submissions are due by November 19th.
Finalists will be announced and contacted (to choose their candy bar of choice) by November 22nd.
