Spiral Jenna Law, '22 Sometimes you just need a day, A day to stay home, to rest, to relax. Sometimes you just need a day, A day to reflect and to look back. The problem with this world is that when you need a day, You inevitably need more, because when you miss one day, The workload somehow multiplies by four. Then you try to do the work, to resurface, to realign, But inevitably you start to kinda lose your mind. The time slips away and that single day becomes several more. Because with a workload so large, You need an entire army to fight your war But in the end, all you have is you, And you realize your day to relax was just the calm before the storm. Sometimes you just need a day, But sometimes that day causes an uproar, Sometimes you just need a day, A day that leads to a hundred more.
